We took some time out of our crazy schedule to have a picnic down at our favorite spot, the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art on Sunday. The weather was absolutely perfect and the gardens were beautiful, as always.
We took some pictures next to the Robert Indiana numbers sculpture, which oddly enough I believe is called "0". We started doing this for Alex's second birthday next to the "2" and have tried to get one every year. We, of course, tried to capture Andrew's "1" but he was less than enthusiastic as you can see in the picture. At that point he just wanted to RUN, which we let him do a lot of that day.
The picnic part of the day proved a little less than successful--all Alex wanted were the cookies and Andrew refused everything but the juice. So actually it was an attempted picnic and we just ended up eating at home. Still, it was a very nice time and we always enjoy our family outings there.
